Can I use these pads every day, or is that too much exfoliation?

Yes. The acid here is gluconolactone, a PHA with a large molecule that works gently at the surface, and Anua formulates the pad for daily morning and evening use. If your skin is very reactive, start at three or four nights a week and build up.

What is the difference between the two sides of the pad?

The embossed side is for lightly sweeping away dead skin and smoothing texture. Flip to the smooth side to press in the 77% heartleaf essence, or rest it on a congested area for a few minutes as a mini mask.

Can I still use retinol or vitamin C alongside these?

Better to alternate nights rather than stack them. PHA is mild, but layering it straight under a retinoid or a strong acid in the same evening is where most people run into stinging and flaking.
